KEYS TO OUR QUALITY OF CARE: We never take the quality of our service for granted and, in fact, work diligently to make sure that we continue to give Members the best service and attention possible. Of course, assuring that quality of care begins long before an FOPN Provider ever sees the first Managed-Care member.
To make sure we continue to offer the best quality of care, service and attention possible, we focus on seven key things:
• Identifying, qualifying & recruiting skilled, conscientious, caring Network Providers;
• Locating qualified Providers, usually, within a five-mile radius of where most of a Health Plan’s members live and/or work;
• Scheduling appointments within three weeks from the initial phone call to a Network Provider;
• Conducting comprehensive, thorough eye-exams (including a dilated-fundus exam to look inside the eyes);
• Making sure Health Plan members receive the best & most appropriate care, diagnosis, treatment & attention possible.
• Offering a wide selection of contemporary eyeglass frames, styles & options, and contact-lens choices; and
• Producing & dispatching eyeglasses within two weeks from the time eyeglass orders have been placed.
